Who we are
Miracle on Slide is a volunteer-run family Christmas event in Lubbock, TX. Every dollar raised, including tickets and donations, goes to a local school. “We” and “us” means the event organizers and volunteers.
Reservations
- A reservation holds spots for your group on one night. Admission is $5 per person; ages 5 and under free. Prices and capacity are shown on the reservation page and may change for future reservations, never for one you have already made.
- Every group needs at least one guest age 6 or older, and one adult must sign the liability waiver.
- Your QR code is your ticket. Anyone who shows it can claim the wristbands for your group, so treat the link like cash and don't share it publicly.
- Reservations are held without payment. If you reserve and can't make it, please email us so the spots can go to another family. We may cancel reservations that stay unpaid and unclaimed, or that look like duplicates or automated submissions.
- You may be asked to confirm your reservation at the door by name or email.
Payments, refunds, and donations
- You can pay through the Venmo or Cash App links on your ticket page, or in person (cash or card where available). Venmo and Cash App are separate services with their own terms; we never see or store your card, bank, or account details.
- A volunteer confirms each online payment by hand, so your ticket may show a balance for a little while.
- If you paid and can't attend, email us before the night you reserved. We'll refund what you paid, or keep it as a donation to a local school if you prefer.
- Anything paid above the ticket price is treated as a donation to a local school. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable once the event has taken place. We can't provide tax receipts; ask the school district if you need one.
At the event
- The event runs outdoors on private property. Please follow posted safety rules and directions from volunteers. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who endangers others or won't follow the rules, without a refund.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Attendance is at your own risk, as set out in the liability waiver that one adult in each group signs. Those terms apply alongside these.
- Photos and video may be taken at the event for the event's own social media and future promotion. Tell a volunteer if you would rather your family not be photographed.
Weather and changes
West Texas weather is unpredictable. If a night has to be cancelled or cut short for weather, safety, or anything else outside our control, we'll email everyone with a reservation and post an update on the site. Where we can, we'll move your reservation to another night; otherwise anything you paid will be refunded on request or kept as a donation if you prefer.
This website
The site is provided as-is to make reserving easier. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will never have a glitch. Don't use automated tools to make reservations or to look up other people's tickets. How we handle your details is covered in the privacy notice.
